JOO HUAT was founded by Mr. Tann Yu Chai in 1930 in the town of Kota Kinabalu, then known as Api Api. A home-grown business, JOO HUAT began selling bicycles, marine outboard motors, fishing nets, and spare parts. The company’s name was changed to JOO HUAT CHAI KEE SDN BHD in 1983.
